"From our first telephone conversation, I knew you would do an outstanding job and you lived up to our expectations! I was most impressed by the amount of homework you did in order to customize your program to our needs. You showed great flexibility when the topic shifted and changed as we approached the meeting. It was not easy to come up with a program that would please both employees and their spouses, but you managed to do so beautifully. Most importantly, the spouses left feeling that they had been included in the World Savings "family"."

With over 20 years of experience as a professional speaker, author, and management consultant, Eileen McDargh has worked with organizations and associations throughout the United States, Canada and the Pacific Rim. Her ability to connect with mind, heart, and spirit makes her one of the most sought-after keynoters in North America. She's fun and funny; relevant and provocative.  She draws upon practical business know-how, life's experiences, and years of consulting to national and international organizations to help audiences discover and learn.

She has addressed such diverse groups as GTE, 3M, IBM, American Airlines, Toyota, Novartis Pharmaceuticals, Franklin Life Insurance. Transamerica Insurance, Coldwell Banker, the United States Armed Forces, and the prestigious Million Dollar Round Table!

But Eileen didn't always speak.  It took a high school debate teacher to pull this shy student out of a crowd and tell her she could help make a winning forensics team. By the end of graduation, Eileen was ranked among the nation's top ten extemporaneous speakers in the National Catholic Forensics League.  She closed out her college years at the University of Florida with a degree in Speech Communication and an award as the Outstanding Woman Graduate in Leadership.

Circumstance more than design found her teaching school in a rural community at the Florida/Georgia border.  After four years of teaching everyone from pre-school to adults, living in a converted motel on US Highway #1, and driving 35 miles one-way to the closest laundromat and grocery store, she left to work in marketing and communications for Amelia Island Plantation.

But she never forgot the joy of teaching, as evidenced by her selection as Nassau County's Teacher of the Year.

Since that time, Eileen's career in business has taken her from working with multinational corporations to training drill foreman in the Arctic.  She is the author of Work for a Living & Still be Free to Live, JourneyWork, The Resilient Spirit and a contributing author for Meditations for the Road Warrior.   Eileen is a frequent contributor to numerous business journals and news magazines and has appeared several times on CNN Headline News.
